This song is dedicated to a guy I met when busking in Brighton. He was very charming but alas had been the son of two alchoholic parents and ended up in care. He then regressed into becoming a homeless alcohol and drug addict himself and died of an overdose.

It gave me a shocking insight into the awful disconnection and spiritual poverty of dysfunctional families, and inspired me to hope I might be able to reach some of the innocent children that have to tolerate such insecurity and lovelessness in these situations before they break.
